Brian
called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.
Betty
made a motion to approve the agenda, Karen supported, motion carried.
Karen
made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 1st meeting with
one correction, Mark, not Dave passed out flyers pertaining to a 2011 “Ride to
Save a Life”…., Amanda supported, motion carried.
The
treasurer reported a balance of $1289.63 in the bank.
Amanda
made a motion to reimburse Brian $15.00 for payment on our website, Betty
supported, motion carried.
Julie
made a motion to pay $75.00 for the renewal of our MIFMA membership, Brian R
supported, motion carried.
Brian
informed us of one change to the MM job description, the addition of “Do
maintenance/cleaning associated with the toilet facilities as per Health
Department requirements” under “Other”.
Julie made a motion to approve the amended Market Master Job Description,
Brian R supported, motion carried. Brian
will see we receive a finalized copy.
After
discussion of the tentative bylaws, the following three changes were proposed:
1.
# 5.3.3 – (5) be changed to (4).
2.
# 5.3.3 – after the words sold out, add: or have extenuating
circumstances
3.
# 5.3.7 – after the word call, add: the Market Master
Julie
made a motion to approve the amended bylaws, Karen supported. Roll call vote: Julie, yes – Karen, yes – Amanda, yes – Brian
R, yes – Betty, yes – Brian, yes. Motion
carried. Betty will email each committee
member a finalized copy.
Brian
and Amanda will work on completing website changes and updates.
Brian
informed us Dave Fisher resigned from the FM committee. Brian made note of the help Dave has given
over the years. We will work on finding
a replacement for Dave.
Brian
informed us the plaque to be hung on the shed thanking all the volunteers and
donors for their help in making the shed a reality has been completed.
Election
of officers:
Betty made a motion to elect Julie as co-chair,
Amanda supported, motion carried.
Julie made a motion to elect Brian as chair, Karen
supported, motion carried.
Julie made a motion to elect Betty as secretary,
Karen supported, motion carried.
Betty made a motion to elect Karen as treasurer,
Brian R supported, motion carried.
Brian
will contact Amy Jo and see if she is still interested in painting the shed
bathroom. Amanda will make a sign-up
sheet for any who are interested in receiving a weekly email regarding the
FM. It was decided to have a work bee on
May 14th at 9:30 a.m. for spring cleaning, maintenance and
improvements on the FM shed. Brian will
fix the FM sign that is leaning.
Upcoming
meeting dates will be:
10-4-11, potluck at 5:00 p.m. with
meeting to follow.
1-3-12, meeting at 6:30
5-1-12, meeting at 6:30
