called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
The
purpose of this meeting was to discuss issue brought to the committee’s attention
regarding the composting toilet.
Brian
reported he spoke with Doug at the Osceola County Health Department and found
out the following:
1.
We must have a water-based hand washing station.
2.
Waste must be dumped at an approved site.
3.
Gray water must be dumped in an approved septic system.
Discussion
followed.
Brian
found a dumping site for the compost, cost is $25.00
per usage.
A
motion was made by Karen to purchase a composting toilet, Julie supported,
motion carried. The purchase was already
made at a cost of $1550.00.
Julie
made a motion to spend $190.00 for a permit from the Health Department for the
composting toilet and $100.00 to purchase a used hand washing station. Karen supported, motion carried.
The
next FM meeting will be July 14th, 6:30 p.m. in the hall.
Betty
made a motion to adjourn, Karen supported, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
