Sherman Township
Announcements
●
In anticipation of the February Primary election on Tuesday, February 28th,
2012, and pursuant to State regulations, Sherman Twp will hold a public
testing of voting equipment on Thursday, February 23rd at 2pm.
● Board of Review will meet to
hear petitions on March 12 from 9am to 3pm and again on March 14 from 3pm to
9pm at the twp hall.
●
**New day and Time** Annual Meeting of the Township including Budget
Review and Truth in Taxation Hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 13th at
7:30pm in conjunction with our regular monthly meeting.
● The Township Board has approved
and placed into writing
Township Hall Use
Policies.
● Sherman Township has been awarded
an $8,200 grant from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources in order
to replace and improve outdoor recreation equipment and facilities at Center
Lake and Grove Hill Parks.
At its November 8, 2011 meeting
the proposed changes to Section 7.9E of the Zoning Ordinance, Special Uses
Requiring Additional Standards were adopted.
